Raquel holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid, is senior adviser to companies and boards, President at PWN Madrid and until June 2017, director of markets at KPMG.

Included in 500 YODona’s list of the most influential Spanish women of November 2016 and of Spanish women with great astute business sense in November 2017.

Raquel has worked for more than 10 years as Director in the area of ​​Markets at KPMG, Global Account Director and Lead Partner of different accounts contributing to the growth of the firm in more than two digits in the financial and infrastructure sector in recent years. Other sectors of specialization are services, industrial, hotel, real estate and private equity.

As an auditor, Raquel worked for more than 20 years providing advisory services to banks, investment funds and other financial and non-financial institutions. The main projects she led are: audit of annual accounts and reporting to headquarters, participation in audit committees, specific advice to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) and Bank of Spain and good corporate governance.

Raquel holds an SMP from IE Business School and a Hot Top from IESE Business School. Official Register of Auditors of Accounts (R.O.A.C.)  Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Board for Directors Programs of the Institute of Directors and Administrators (ICA) in Spain.

Raquel has served as a volunteer in different foundations and projects throughout her career. In PWN Madrid she was appointed treasurer in March 2012, vice-president in July 2013 and is president since June 2015. In November 2017 she renewed her position as president at PWN Madrid unanimously.
